In my studio, I use whatever I feel like putting my hands on that day – usually some combination of glitter, embellishments, rubber stamps, pigment and dye inks, watercolor pens, and a fabulous desktop printer. I’m picky about cardstock, ink colors, and packaging because I want each card to feel like a treat to the customer. Some of the stamps I use are designed by me; others are designs of other artists and I use them with permission in an original layout.
Someday I’ll have a little sound clip right here of the sound I often make right after I make a card, hold it up, and am pleased with it. My family and a few friends could imitate it. The point is, my work makes me happy. Like . . . really happy.
